Our goal was to produce an online documentary film series celebrating real eBay users to commemorate the power seller's 17 years online.
Working closely with Digitas, we produced and directed six mini-documentary films, one PR launch film and three: 15 second teaser films that featured real eBay users sharing their stories about the transformative effect of eBay on their lives and businesses. Beyond the live action production, we handled all post plus all editorial with freelance editors, Benjamin Entrup and Philip Owens.
The project took our production teams across the US - from Nate Victor's warehouse in Valencia, CA to Jonathan Adler's Shelter Island retreat to Wheel & Sprockets' Milwaukee, WI. The Michael J. Fox Foundation even participated with his team sharing the story of an eBay charity auction that raised $4.7million for research into Parkinson's disease.
