To commemorate 17 years online, eBay launched the "eBay: Thanks You" campaign to show gratitude to their community of buyers and sellers.
Working closely with Digitas, we produced six mini-documentary style films, one PR launch video and three :15 second teaser videos that featured eBay users sharing their stories about the effect of eBay on their lives and businesses. The Famous Group also handled the editorial on the project with editors, Benjamin Entrup and Philip Owens.
The project took our production teams all over the US - from Nate Victor's warehouse in Valencia, CA to Jonathan Adler's Shelter Island retreat to Wheel & Sprockets' Milwaukee, WI. The Michael J. Fox Foundation even participated with his team sharing the story of an eBay charity auction that raised $4.7 million for research into Parkinson's Disease.
